Welcome to the Horspath Hub in the Old Chapel

An ideal venue with access and a toilet for people with a disability.

Horspath is a lovely village six miles south of Oxford and the Hub overlooks the village green.

Please note that the Horspath Hub is NOT the same venue as the Horspath Village Hall.

Use the links immediately below the above photograph to navigate the site. All links on each page are highlighted in blue. If you have any comments, please email me at:

The Hub is an ideal venue for classes and activities, parties, weddings, wakes, meetings, exhibitions and corporate events. One wall of the Hall has a special paint applied so that images can be projected onto it. Click on the View Facilities link above to view photographs of the facilities.

To book the Hub, please click on the Hub Booking link above, where you will find the Bookings Calendar showing the availability of rooms, Terms and Conditions, and a Booking form to download which can be completed online. We are taking bookings up to May 2024.

There is an Outreach Post Office and Coffee Morning every Friday morning where people enjoy socialising.

Click on Classes & Activities to see what is happening in the Hub and online now.

Wesleyan Chapel, Horspath, 1910

A photograph of the opening ceremony for the Wesleyan Chapel, February 3rd., 1910. Built at a cost of £400, the Chapel replaced an earlier building a few yards further along Oxford Road, which had opened as a Chapel in 1871. This 1910 Chapel was to last 99 years as a place of Methodist worship, and is now the Horspath Hub. Over 50 people attended this ceremony, testament to the strength of Methodism in Horspath at this time.

The second opening of the Methodist Chapel was on June 7th, 2014, when the Methodist Chapel became known as the Horspath Hub at the Old Chapel.
